Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? O’Brien’s wife was a frigid old crab. She had never been known to laugh. He decided to buy the old girl a new hat. Perhaps she might crack a smile. He sent it home by messenger. A street fight took place. For the first time in her life Mrs. O’Brien laughed, but presto, she learned that hat was her own.

Reviews: [The Moving Picture World, 25 October 1913, page ?] O’Brien (William Murray) is being put on his nerves by a wife who never smiles and from this circumstance rise a few comical happenings which are not so funny as the characters who set them forth. The offering seemed to please nearly all and it made some in the audience laugh.
