Died 23 March 1964 in Venice, California, USA.

Married automobile dealer Harry H. Anderson, 1914; divorced 1930.

Claire Anderson began film work in 1914, and worked for Fine Arts Film Company, Majestic Motion Picture Company (1915), Reliance Motion Picture Company (1915), The Keystone Film Company (1916-1917), Kalem Company, Incorporated (1917), Triangle Film Corporation (1918), Famous Players-Lasky Corporation (1919), Select Pictures Corporation (1919), The Universal Film Manufacturing Company, Incorporated (1919-1920), Arrow Film Corporation (1920), Selznick Pictures Corporation (1921), Fox Film Corporation (1921-1922), Universal Pictures Corporation (1923-1925) and Morris R. Schlank Productions (1926). During her career Anderson worked with director John Ford. She retired from film work in 1926.
